I am so proud of my bug! This morning was quite beautiful so the boys and I went out for our bible study and this mornings lesson on the parts of the tree. We used a red oak tree int he back yard as our model. While Kaden climbed all over us and tried to get poor Dodger, my bug was busy naming the parts of the tree - quite well I must add! As you can see I am extremely proud and wanted to share his work with all. Check out this coloring (all on his own) and glueing (all on his own). I did cut it out for him. Dodger was funny and stayed just beyond Kaden's reach...much to his dismay! :)

Short (actually, not so much) note to ask for a couple of favors and update you all on the kids' schedule of upcoming events.

Braden and Elizabeth's classes are collecting box tops and labels for education. Many cereals and paper products that we all use are eligible to be turned in for points towards computers and playground equipment, etc. Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Kleenex, Ziploc, Cottonelle and Nature Valley are just a few of the brands that participate in this program. You can check out
www.boxtops4education.com for a full list of products ~ 10 labels earns $1 for our school. Please save your labels (if you aren't using them elsewhere) for the kids to turn in.

JCYSA Cheerleaders are in need of empty toilet paper rolls. Please try to save these for the next couple of weeks if possible. Paper towel rolls will work as well. We would also appreciate donations of any craft supplies you have had around the house for years and aren't using. Our school colors are maroon and white...if you see any great deals at garage sales or on the clearance aisle of your local wal-mart, please keep us in mind.

We had our cheerleading clinic today and it went really well. Caly was able to go with Elizabeth and she really enjoyed it...well, the first half of it, anyway. Liz worked really hard and learned three new cheers as well as the dance the girls will be doing during half-time at the football games. Both girls will be cheering at the high school football game this coming Friday night, as will all the kindergarten and first graders in the community that attended the clinic. I found out today that as head coach, I'm expected to run out on the field with my girls and do some sort of damn cheer jump and salute or something while I am introduced...those of you that know me well (everyone receiving this email) can wipe those grins off your faces now ~ you will NOT see me doing this...I tried to show Liz a jump in the dining room the other day and my fat butt landed so hard that I honestly saw white stars floating around my head from the impact. I twisted one ankle and both knees. I'll figure out a way around this stupid little small town tradition. Any ideas?

Our first games will be on the 9th in Blanco. The next three games after that will be in Johnson City. Try to plan on attending one of the JC games if you want to come see the kids...the games may be hours apart and it would be more convenient if we were close to the house. The board is selling Eagle t-shirts as a fund raiser. The shirts have all the kids names and team info (team name, football #) listed on the back for this season...I think they are $15 if anyone is interested (Dottie!). Braden and Lizzie's names will be on the same shirt.

Haylie has a volleyball game tomorrow at 4pm. Her games will all be early and during the week, so most of you won't get to see her play. Keep her in your thoughts and pray for her poor knees to hold up the length of the game. I'll record them so you can see her play when we get together.

Special prayer request for me...on Thursday I'll be working with 16 girls, several hot glue guns, a heavy duty stapler, and PAINT. Pray for me to have patience, calm children, and steady hands. Also, one of the assistant coaches is on a mission to have all of us coaches in shorty short shorts during the football games. I need some divine intervention here... I NEVER had cheerleader legs and I certainly don't have cheerleader legs now, three kids and 32 yrs of gravity working against me later. I suppose it isn't exactly christian to pray that this woman is struck by a large truck before Tuesday's vote, so I'll ask that you pray for wisdom in the votes of the other asst coaches or the discovery of some miracle anti-cellulite cream in the event I'm outvoted. And, of course, pray about that little matter of the field intro. Thank you in advance.

Guess that's about it for now. Don't forget the Grandparents Tea at school is on the 8th. Andrea starts school tomorrow so send encouraging brain waves her way in the morning. Hope you all have a good week.

Love,
Angela

Glad to see that Tracy decided to join us. I have invited many many family, well actually all that I have emails for, but no one else has decided to contribute so far...perhaps Tracy can work on them! :) All is well around here. Although Bug got stung by a red wasp on his tummy (right beside his belly button) this morning...which was not fun! But he apparently is not allergic it swelled up just around the sting, but has gone down now. Thank goodness...good old Benadryl! I hope all is well for everyone else...not much time to chat right now...but again soon...take care...we-

Well, hello again. Sorry it has been so long. The boys, Brian and I have been keeping quite busy setting up house, routines, schedules etc.

Kutter is enjoying Mother's Day Out every Wed. His teacher Ms. Davi is a sweet lady that keeps him busy learning letter sounds and bible lessons. He seems to enjoy it.

Kaden is now crawling all over the house. He is quite funny chasing his brother and I up and down the hall. Kutter says he is the monster trying to get him. As of yesterday (Braden's birthday) Kaden's first tooth broke though. Thank goodness. He was quite a bear for a while there. Bottom right, the left one is almost there...not long I am sure!

We have joined the YMCA and I am enjoying aerobics classes. The boys like to play in the Kids Club and Kutter loves to play basketball with Daddy.

I have also joined the MOM's Club at Ferris Ave Baptist Church. We had our kickoff last Friday which was lots of fun! I look forward to attending and being a part of the bible study and fun things they have planned!

Ferris Avenue is our church home here in Waxahachie. They have an awesome Children's program and great bible studies. The worship service is at 8am...a little early, but that Southern Gospel singing is so worth it!

I will be mailing postcards out to all you ladies concerning a bible study for family/friends. I hope you decide to be a part of it and I do look forward to working with you all. I think it will be a great thing to do together. Check your mail this week and email/call/write me with questions, comments and suggestions.

All for now...till next time...love one another...we-

I certainly hope everyone else is having a good week. Our week around the Johnson house has been a busy but good one thus far.

I am enjoying the new surroundings minus the many spiders I seem to find! I am death with the bug spray though! :)

The boys and I attended bible study at FABC last night. Kutter loved it because his class had splash time with the slide that you climb up and slide down. It was great! And they had a bounce house as well so he was in Heaven. Kaden not so much...although he does seem to be getting better. He attacked a little girl though and being the brute that he is was pulling her hair. He threw a fit when the teacher told him no...I don't have any idea where he has learned that! haha! She called me out of bible study (it was at the closing anyway) because she thought he was hungry. Well the baby was apparently starving...like he hadn't eaten just before we went in about an hour before. :) That boy!

But needless to say, we did enjoy it! All for now...prayers to John and Lynn...and all the rest of you. Stay focused, Stay positive and Go out and help another! we-

Well, it has been a very long day today. The boys and I stayed busy cleaning house and trying to keep everyone happy and together.

Prayers out to John and Lynn and all the family. Hope things are better...

We attended the Sunday service at Ferris Avenue Baptist Church. It was great. The music was wonderful, the pastor was excellent and the message really hit home...

We attended the Sunday evening service at the Farley street Baptist church...nice children's musical program but disappointing I think...just something about it made me sort of uncomfortable. I don't know yet...
