I PASSED!!!! Woo-Hoo! I passed my Math 2 test! Yeah! I am so excited. One math class behind me. I have one more assignment to get passed for Math 1 and I will be done with that one too! Yeah! No more math for me. On to my education courses - the fun stuff! Woo-Hoo!

Today is Braden's Birthday - Happy Birthday Kiddo.

Today was another busy day - I had training for MDO and the boys played with all the kids in the nursery. We had CPS training today about child abuse and what to look for, report, etc.

scary...

It seems that Granny is doing alright...she has been resting I hear, but is still fighting the C Dif infection. Keep praying.

Well all for now...back to work...love to all.

Well it has been a while I see...you know life gets crazy and years fly by! LOL

It's August and the weather is rather cool on some days and we have had a lot of rain within the past few weeks...crazy this time of year. Today God graced with a beautiful day...sunshine and warm...rather warm...but not the 106 we have had. LOL

We started orientation at First Steps Preschool (MDO) today. The boys went with me and played with the other kids while I was in training.

My baby will be turning 5 in a few weeks...can you believe that? Wow....I think I am getting old.

The little guy is in the middle of potty training...he is really doing quite well. Not nearly as hard as the first one...he initiated it on his own several weeks ago and just took off with it. No more diapers during the day. He refuses to wear them. LOL But that is okay with me!!!

Brian is working on his second tv show and enjoying every minute. :)

I am currently teaching the boys at home - Kinder and PreK as well as teaching 3 year olds at MDO and attending college again. I am determined to finish my teaching degree!!! I am currently working on 2 math courses. I took a math test today. If I pass it I am done with one class. Woo-Hoo! I have one more assignment in the other class. I am waiting for the graders to get back to me on that one....ugh! I feel good about my test - it seemed to come to me well, there was a few questions that I said - huh? But for the most part, I believe I did well. Pray for me!

God has been good to us lately...taking care of us and providing. Taking care of us every day...

Praises - this beautiful day!

Prayer Requests - Granny - she is still in the hospital dealing with that C-Dif infection. Although it looks like she won't be going anywhere until she is over it. Thank goodness. I am afraid of her going to the nursing home while she is still fighting this stuff. Pray also for the boys and I that we will be able to get into a steady routine for the school year. We have a lot to accomplish over the past few months. Patience and diligence are a must. I know God will give them to me.

Well, it has been a while I know, but we have been so busy lately. The boys and I are non stop. And of course Brian works a lot these days. We are hoping the house in Garland sells very soon so he can slow down!

Our trip to Arkanasas was great. We really had fun driving around with Memaw and Papa and seeing all the family. Granny Lula is well. Quite Spry for 93. She enjoyed seeing Kaden. Goodness I wish I lived closer...she is quite a lady.

Trying to get home to Texas was difficult though. We were supposed to fly out Sunday to arrive Sunday night so we would be home for Kutter's Birthday on Monday...well that didn't happen. We got stuck in Little Rock because of the weather and weren't able to fly out until Monday morning. Unfortunately our bags (all but the carry ons) made the earlier flight. We were on standby for the earlier flight, but missed it because of security issues. Apparently me and my children are big terror threats and have to be searched over and over again. It was terrible, so needless to say we spent the night in a hotel with only the clothes we wore, which I washed out it the bathtub. It was quite an experience. But we made it. Stressful and all...but we made it.

I am trying to get back on track here at home.

We celebrated Kutter's 3rd birthday on Monday...can you believe the Bug is 3? Man...he is growing up!

We had doctor checkups for both boys on Tuesday, which was a handful to say the least.

Then we had our first soccer practice Tuesday evening. That was hilarious. What an even...3 year olds and soccer balls! Haha! It was fun though!

Wednesday was a really good day for me, things just seemed to fall into place! Go Me!

Today is cloudy and quite cool...it is great. The boys and I spent the whole morning outside, we worked on rhyming words, weather and read books. Then Bug and Kaden played cars on the porch while I sorted clothes. We don't have any pants and long sleeve shirts out for when it is cool. Bug is too long for all his pants, so I had to find the next size box. And Kaden is getting to long for the 6-9 months stuff. Growing on me!

The bible study is looking great. I hope Tasha, Angela and Tracy also decide to join. I am a little disapointed that more of the "wiser" women in the family didn't join. I think we could use their wisdom...we will have to keep working on them.

Well, all for now...we-

I am so proud of my bug! This morning was quite beautiful so the boys and I went out for our bible study and this mornings lesson on the parts of the tree. We used a red oak tree int he back yard as our model. While Kaden climbed all over us and tried to get poor Dodger, my bug was busy naming the parts of the tree - quite well I must add! As you can see I am extremely proud and wanted to share his work with all. Check out this coloring (all on his own) and glueing (all on his own). I did cut it out for him. Dodger was funny and stayed just beyond Kaden's reach...much to his dismay! :)
Till later...we-

Short (actually, not so much) note to ask for a couple of favors and update you all on the kids' schedule of upcoming events.

Braden and Elizabeth's classes are collecting box tops and labels for education. Many cereals and paper products that we all use are eligible to be turned in for points towards computers and playground equipment, etc. Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Kleenex, Ziploc, Cottonelle and Nature Valley are just a few of the brands that participate in this program. You can check out
www.boxtops4education.com for a full list of products ~ 10 labels earns $1 for our school. Please save your labels (if you aren't using them elsewhere) for the kids to turn in.

JCYSA Cheerleaders are in need of empty toilet paper rolls. Please try to save these for the next couple of weeks if possible. Paper towel rolls will work as well. We would also appreciate donations of any craft supplies you have had around the house for years and aren't using. Our school colors are maroon and white...if you see any great deals at garage sales or on the clearance aisle of your local wal-mart, please keep us in mind.

We had our cheerleading clinic today and it went really well. Caly was able to go with Elizabeth and she really enjoyed it...well, the first half of it, anyway. Liz worked really hard and learned three new cheers as well as the dance the girls will be doing during half-time at the football games. Both girls will be cheering at the high school football game this coming Friday night, as will all the kindergarten and first graders in the community that attended the clinic. I found out today that as head coach, I'm expected to run out on the field with my girls and do some sort of damn cheer jump and salute or something while I am introduced...those of you that know me well (everyone receiving this email) can wipe those grins off your faces now ~ you will NOT see me doing this...I tried to show Liz a jump in the dining room the other day and my fat butt landed so hard that I honestly saw white stars floating around my head from the impact. I twisted one ankle and both knees. I'll figure out a way around this stupid little small town tradition. Any ideas?

Our first games will be on the 9th in Blanco. The next three games after that will be in Johnson City. Try to plan on attending one of the JC games if you want to come see the kids...the games may be hours apart and it would be more convenient if we were close to the house. The board is selling Eagle t-shirts as a fund raiser. The shirts have all the kids names and team info (team name, football #) listed on the back for this season...I think they are $15 if anyone is interested (Dottie!). Braden and Lizzie's names will be on the same shirt.

Haylie has a volleyball game tomorrow at 4pm. Her games will all be early and during the week, so most of you won't get to see her play. Keep her in your thoughts and pray for her poor knees to hold up the length of the game. I'll record them so you can see her play when we get together.

Special prayer request for me...on Thursday I'll be working with 16 girls, several hot glue guns, a heavy duty stapler, and PAINT. Pray for me to have patience, calm children, and steady hands. Also, one of the assistant coaches is on a mission to have all of us coaches in shorty short shorts during the football games. I need some divine intervention here... I NEVER had cheerleader legs and I certainly don't have cheerleader legs now, three kids and 32 yrs of gravity working against me later. I suppose it isn't exactly christian to pray that this woman is struck by a large truck before Tuesday's vote, so I'll ask that you pray for wisdom in the votes of the other asst coaches or the discovery of some miracle anti-cellulite cream in the event I'm outvoted. And, of course, pray about that little matter of the field intro. Thank you in advance.

Guess that's about it for now. Don't forget the Grandparents Tea at school is on the 8th. Andrea starts school tomorrow so send encouraging brain waves her way in the morning. Hope you all have a good week.

Love,
Angela

Glad to see that Tracy decided to join us. I have invited many many family, well actually all that I have emails for, but no one else has decided to contribute so far...perhaps Tracy can work on them! :) All is well around here. Although Bug got stung by a red wasp on his tummy (right beside his belly button) this morning...which was not fun! But he apparently is not allergic it swelled up just around the sting, but has gone down now. Thank goodness...good old Benadryl! I hope all is well for everyone else...not much time to chat right now...but again soon...take care...we-

Sunday, August 27, 2006

Well, hello again. Sorry it has been so long. The boys, Brian and I have been keeping quite busy setting up house, routines, schedules etc.

Kutter is enjoying Mother's Day Out every Wed. His teacher Ms. Davi is a sweet lady that keeps him busy learning letter sounds and bible lessons. He seems to enjoy it.

Kaden is now crawling all over the house. He is quite funny chasing his brother and I up and down the hall. Kutter says he is the monster trying to get him. As of yesterday (Braden's birthday) Kaden's first tooth broke though. Thank goodness. He was quite a bear for a while there. Bottom right, the left one is almost there...not long I am sure!

We have joined the YMCA and I am enjoying aerobics classes. The boys like to play in the Kids Club and Kutter loves to play basketball with Daddy.

I have also joined the MOM's Club at Ferris Ave Baptist Church. We had our kickoff last Friday which was lots of fun! I look forward to attending and being a part of the bible study and fun things they have planned!

Ferris Avenue is our church home here in Waxahachie. They have an awesome Children's program and great bible studies. The worship service is at 8am...a little early, but that Southern Gospel singing is so worth it!

I will be mailing postcards out to all you ladies concerning a bible study for family/friends. I hope you decide to be a part of it and I do look forward to working with you all. I think it will be a great thing to do together. Check your mail this week and email/call/write me with questions, comments and suggestions.

I certainly hope everyone else is having a good week. Our week around the Johnson house has been a busy but good one thus far.

I am enjoying the new surroundings minus the many spiders I seem to find! I am death with the bug spray though! :)

The boys and I attended bible study at FABC last night. Kutter loved it because his class had splash time with the slide that you climb up and slide down. It was great! And they had a bounce house as well so he was in Heaven. Kaden not so much...although he does seem to be getting better. He attacked a little girl though and being the brute that he is was pulling her hair. He threw a fit when the teacher told him no...I don't have any idea where he has learned that! haha! She called me out of bible study (it was at the closing anyway) because she thought he was hungry. Well the baby was apparently starving...like he hadn't eaten just before we went in about an hour before. :) That boy!

But needless to say, we did enjoy it! All for now...prayers to John and Lynn...and all the rest of you. Stay focused, Stay positive and Go out and help another! we-

Monday, August 07, 2006

Well, it has been a very long day today. The boys and I stayed busy cleaning house and trying to keep everyone happy and together.

Prayers out to John and Lynn and all the family. Hope things are better...

We attended the Sunday service at Ferris Avenue Baptist Church. It was great. The music was wonderful, the pastor was excellent and the message really hit home...

We attended the Sunday evening service at the Farley street Baptist church...nice children's musical program but disappointing I think...just something about it made me sort of uncomfortable. I don't know yet...

Monday, July 31, 2006

Well, where is everyone? I know I haven't been here either, but I have a valid excuse!!! :) We've been doing the move thing. Which I exhaustedly say is partially done. We have most everything from the Garland house, just a few non-essentials to pick up sometime or another. And cleaning to do and a garage sale to have...Yeah!

As for the new house, it is coming along. The school building is a complete wreck, but the house is coming together, slowly but surely. I am proud to say that the boys bathroom, the kitchen and the utility room are mostly complete. Woo-hoe! As for the other rooms, well they are there...They are messy...And they are tiring me out! Ha! Between chasing the boys and trying to clean up/clean out/put away my days are certainly filled.

On another note, we tried a new church last Wednesday. Ferris Avenue Baptist Church in Waxahachie. It is a huge church...500+ attending on Sundays...They have 3 Sunday morning services...These are the cons in my view...I don't like big things, I want to be known not a number...But a pro...A big pro...They have an extremely active children's dept. This is awesome in my perspective. I am looking into this as a great place for the boys. They are my main concern. Although I will truly miss Brother Rial...He is so awesome. But I can get his sermons on CD...A good thing for me! We went to Sunday school and church in Garland last Sunday and it was very hard. We got up at 6:30 and were still 15 minutes late. The "only an hour drive" was much more than I imagined. :) One thing I don't like about this church is it doesn't offer Sunday evening services. I don't know for sure yet, I plan to attend a few more times to see what I think. Maybe try some of the other churches as well. We will find a home I know, and soon too. Kutter loves going to "God's House" as he has began to call it and be with the kids. Kaden not so much...But he is at that "separation from mommy is killing me" stage. :)

Kaden is a great kid, a little freaked out by all this traveling, transition and uproar we are having, but a wonderful baby. He is getting so big lately and such a nut. He has started making this popping noise with his mouth. And he purses his lips and says "oooh". It is funny. Still big loud kid at the crack of dawn...Sometimes we would like to give him away around 6am or so. Any takers? :) He is really funny and so much "MY" baby...Ha! Not that I don't love that! ;) He plays great all by himself, sitting where ever I plop him, until I leave the room. He hates that...And even worse to be all alone in a room. That is like the devil or something.

Kutter bug has been taking it all in stride I think. We have become a little more dependent on the binky and the potty is a not so much anymore. But I am not pushing, he will get it when he gets it. With the move and all, I know he is more upset than he is showing. He is loving his new house and really likes to eat breakfast outside. We ususally take our "cerdal" to the back porch. He is a great kid...

Well it looks like the reunion is set for next year. That is great to hear. I can't wait! A whole week with the entire Frazier clan...Well some of us may be completely bald before it is all over. hahaha! Just kidding, I think it is great! I can't wait, everyone keep your eyes open for anouncements and information.

Here is a note, BJ's music artists will be putting on a show in Garland on Friday Sept 1st...More details to follow soon as I am updated. I know that Liz Arnold (www.lizarnoldmusic.com), Crystal Lynn (www.crystallynnmusic.com) and Scott Whitaker (www.scottwhitaker.com) will be there, I am not sure who else.
Well I have neglected the piles for long enough...So here I go again...And again...And again! :)

Saturday, July 08, 2006

Oh, what a day! I have spent most of the day cleaning out the front porch. It is amazing the amount of crap that has come out of that one little area. I am truly shocked! The house looks like a tornado went through it. There is a huge pile in the living room waiting ot be loaded into the truck tommorrow after church for the boys and I to haul to Wax. Then there is a huge pile in the office (like the office needs any more piles) :) for me to freecycle or craig's list. Then there is a huge pile in the classroom that I am sorting and reboxing, etc...

I have posted pics for you guys to see on the Kodak Easy Share system. You just log in and you can view the latest albums. Sorry I haven't been on top of sending out pics. I just get busy and since I can only send one at a time to mom and dad, it takes a while. But they are there for you to view...the kids are so big now...my Kaden will be 7 months old next week. Can you believe that?

Bug is such a nut, he has been in Heaven today pulling out toys and strowing them everywhere. It has been fun let me tell ya!

All for now I guess...love to all...we-

Thursday, July 06, 2006

You know sadly I am beginning to look forward to the summers end...

I know that is awful!

With moving, packing, teaching, raising boys, etc...I am completely worn out these days. I find myself fighting sleep during the day and not being able to fall asleep at night.

Mr. Bug is so very verbal these days. He is a complete looney! His sentences will floor you.

A funny story...he was outside with BJ the other day and pooped in his pants...he walks up to Brian, throws his hands in the air and sighs and as his hands slap his thighs he says..."Dad, I pooped in my pants". Brian trying not to burst into uncontrollable laughter, says..."Well, what are you going to do about it?"...he answers..."I just don't know". As funny as it was, the scamp comes in and says..."Mom, I pooped...clean my butt." To which I promptly said, "No thanks, I am busy." He didn't like that answer to much...but oh well, I don't like cleaning poop is what I told him. I have resorted to making him clean his own undies. He stood in the tub and washed them out yesterday...all the while telling me how fun it was...and how much he liked it and wanted to do it again. Great! He is a complete loon I am telling you. He gags when ever he sees the poop, and doesn't want it to touch him...but refuses to go in the potty. Lord, help me make it through this time! :)

My Kaden on the other hand, has no issues with poop oozing out of his diaper...which is generally does unless he's had a few jars of bananas. :) Like that image don't you. The boy is literally huge these days. My little Hercules. He is steadly learning to pick on his brother and actually likes to wrestle with him. It is really funny. Poor guy is apparently allergic to something in the air these days...more so in Waxahachie (unfortunately) than Garland. I am thinking the cedar trees are bothering him. As soon as we exit the truck, his nose becomes a faucet and his eyes get red. I am hoping it will pass, but for now we are trying a Benadryl regimin. I hate medicating him, but don't know what else to do to get him to dry up a little. Poor guy at night he is so wet snot sounding it is awful, I have actually been sucking his nose during the night, which causes terrible screaming and makes his brother cover his ears while sleeping. (Quite funny to see.) Hopefully it will pass and he will not have too many problems.

We are trying to get the house thinned, packed and moved...but it is a slow painstaking process for sure. We got the storage building moved and most of the stuff from it down there. But we still have so much to go! I hate moving! What I would do to leave it all behind and start fresh! Haha!

The school is on its way. We have windows and a door in, I am working on forms, handbooks and works. What I really need is a money backer or invester that is willing to invest about $5000 into a private school to help supply the inside of the school. Anybody know any wealthy people with nothing to spend their gobs of money on? haha!

Anyway, I am going for now...take care until next time...we-

Friday, June 30, 2006

Oh, how glad I am that this week is over. The kids and I have been quite busy and it has really seemed to creep by. I didn't have them today, so the boys and I loaded up and headed to Waxahachie to see Memaw and Papa before they headed back to Giddings. Brian and Papa spent Thursday putting windows into the new school building down there. They put in 2 windows and a door on the playground side and Papa put in another window this morning on the backside.

Some stories from this week...lets see...oh I haven't blogged since Monday so I have lots to share...:)

Monday the kids and I went to McDonald's for lunch...the one in Richardson with the jungle scene and the huge blue slides. The kids had an absolute blast and played until they were all completely pooped! Tuesday we went for snow cones in the afternoon. That was a great experience. Kutter decided he wanted an icecream instead, so he got a scoop of strawberry on one of the those regular waffle cones. haha! It was great. He looked like the pink panther by the time he was finished. A regular cow licking on that thing. It was great. Kaden had a few very small bites of my "dreamsicle" snow cone. First snow cone experience. He seemed to enjoy it, but mostly wanted his crackers. Wednesday the kids and I went to "rumble in the jungle" at the Dallas Children's Museum. That was fun. We made all sorts of jungle animals and tribal masks. And we saw the Kritterman, David Klevin. He showed us the worlds smallest falcoln (which can be found in the congo and also Texas), a python, a cheetah turtle (or was it a leopard?), a legless lizard and a madagascar hissing cockroach. Which was extremely huge and quite gross looking. Max got to touch that one...oh no, bring on the handsanitizer! :) Then he brings out the true king of the jungle...the scairest animal in Africa...you guessed it...a li...no a hedgehog! haha! Who would have thought. Gabi got to go up and "roar" at this extremely cute but quite prickly animal. This animal apparently makes quite a statement with his spines. It has a really cute face though. On Thursday we were supposed to attend Brown Bag Book Club, but the boys decided they didn't want to go, so we skipped it...can't say I mind so much...I was exhausted by this point.

So that was our school week, of course today we went to Waxahachie...

Oh, here are some bug stories. Last night we went to Waxahachie and went to dinner in Maypearl with Mom and Dad, we are sitting at our table at the Busy Bee eating when the man and woman at the table behind us get up to leave, we lets just say this woman had a particularly large hind end. Well of course my 2 year old has to notice and says "Oh, look at her bigger butt." Of course he must repeat this a few times to make sure everyone has heard him. I was so embarrassed, I could have crawled under the table. The woman hopefully was out of earshot, but her husband was still at the table and I am sure he heard. Oh Lord. Now I know how Auntie felt during the "I like big boobs" phase Braden went through.

This morning on the way to Waxahachie I got stopped for speeding...did you know that 635 is only 60...in the 5 years I have lived here, I always thought it was 65. So of course I am driving along (in mom and dad's truck) going 70, thinking I am not speeding that much. But apparently Balch Springs top cop in the road with his radar gun thought otherwise as he stepped out and wave me over. So I stop, dig out the insurance and my license and turn to the drivers window to wait for him to appear. Well he goes to the passengers windw and scares me to death when he taps on the glass. So I unbuckle and crawl over all the junk in my front seat to get the door open. I give him my stuff and he asks me if I know why he stopped me...do they teach this question in the academy? :) The he explains that 635 is only a 60 mile an hour road...to my horror. I mention :) that my husband is a DPD officer and he asks me to slow down and tell him Balch Springs took care of me today...yes, I did it! I pulled the cop husband card. Well to continue with my story...yes it gets better. I take off again and hear this clink clink clang noise. Thinking I have a flat tire, I look in my rearview mirror and to my horror see s hubcab rolling in the opposite direction at top speed. (of course). It casually rolls to a stop forever behind me right in the middle of a on ramp. I am telling you if this had been my truck, I would have left it!!! But since it is mom and dads, I figured I had better get it. I look ahead and see the on ramp for 175, behind me is the on ramp for 635 and the hubcap. So I am thinking that I am going to have to leave my children ont he side of the road and trek back some 80 miles to get this dumb hubcap. But when looking in the side mirror, to my horror no doubt, here comes the officer with the hubcap. Once again I unlock the door and he hands it to me with a "Have a nice day ma'am. I was so embarrassed. It was really great...let me tell you.

One more before I fall asleep in this chair. Tonight Kutter, Kaden and I stopped at wal-mart for a dog chain. On the way home Kutter asked me over and over where sally the blue car was at. Finally when he asked again, I said Okay, Kutter can you hear me...(yes)...are you listening...(yes)...Sally the blue car is in the Thomas the train bag and I can't get it when I am driving. So, you will have to wait until we get to the house for us to get it out of the bag. Did you hear what I said...(yes). Then he pops out with "Mommy why are you being ugly to me?" haha! I about died. When I explained that I wasn't being ugly, I was just trying to explain myself and answer his question. He said no, you are being ugly to me. Can you believe that...that boy is a mess. Of course, how many times a day does he hear...don't be ugly to _____. :)

Well, I ma gone for now...take care and love one another...we-

Sunday, June 25, 2006

Oh, I am exhausted this morning. I fell into bed about 11pm last night and Kaden woke up at 4:30. I tried to avoid feeding him because I really don't want him to make a habit of eating at that time. At 5:21 I gave up and fed him, yes in our bed, I was literally to tired to get up and walk to another place. I know its terrible. He went back to sleep only to wake up at 6:30 like he had not eaten in days. Ohhh my child... Oh course Kutter as well has been up since 6:30...poking and prodding his brother. If I could have sent them to make cereal and watch the boob toob I would have. How terrible is that. The past week is catching up with me. I haven't been sleeping and my sinus junk is back, so it has been a really long week. Oh but enough whining. I have to get ready for Sunday school and church, so I don't have much time.

I tried to post the night before last and for whatever reason it didn't work. Annoying...

Thursday the boys and I went to Brown Bag Book Thursday at the farmstead. It was a lot of fun. I didn't have the other kids because their Grandma is in town and they stayed with her. After Bug and I left the farm we headed to Waxahachie to check the mail and see if they actually put a hold on it. (We've been having mail difficulties.) Of course perhaps I am hormonal these days, or just tired. The really rude mail lady completely hurt my feelings. She was very ugly about why we needed to hold our mail, it just didn't make sense. "Since you aren't living there, you shouldn't have any mail". I suppose the electric company, water company and mortgage will just magically hold/pay our bills for the next few months until we move in. I didn't know they offered this service, but apparently the mail lady did. Anyway enough sarcasm. She was quite rude about the whole situation and finally just called out the postmaster to approve a hold until August in case the forward didn't go through. Quite frustrating. I mean, I don't know I thought that was the post offices job - to serve the publics mail needs...hold, deliver, forward, etc. Of course I must be wrong about this observation.

Anyway enough whining. The boys and I also stopped by the local Montessori school - just to check it out, get prices and such. It was a little disappointing, but better than I expected I guess. Kutter walked right in and asked the administrator to go to the playground and play with the kids. It was quite sad, he acted like he just belonged and had been there forever. There prices are very cheap and the environment was cluttered, dirty and very "daycare". Which she did tell me, they are basically daycare in the summer. All of their Montessori works are put up and they just play and have field trips. I didn't like that so much. Bug lined up and followed the others inside. He went potty with them (they only have 1 set up bathrooms, so they do potty time), and then sat down for a game of Bingo. He didn't want to leave, so I told him one game and then we had to go. He did just that, one game then turned in his stuff and said it was time to go. haha! I was glad, I thought I may have to drag him out kicking and screaming. He made me wonder if I am depriving him...

Oh, before I sign off, thanks to Tasha for joining the photography subcommittee! Your help is most appreciated. What do you think about joining the family history subcommittee?

Well, I have to go jump in the shower. My cereal is finished...talk again soon...love to all...wendy

Well today was quite a full day. Briana, Max and Gabi didn't come today (sick), so the boys and I played catch up. We went to the post office, cleaners, dollar store, wal-mart and on and on. We got lots done that we don't normally get to do until after 5 pm and it usually takes us several days.

We had lunch with Granny today. She looked good and was excited to see us. Kutter had fun entertaining her with his antics and being a nut. He enjoyed playing cars with Granny.

We also went to the Dr. for Kaden's 6 month appointment. Dr. Johnson's said Mr. Kaden was the picture of health and he was quite impressed with his ability to sit up so well and reach for things with out falling over and such. He said that usually they don't master that skill until 7 months. And get this the chunk ways 2o lbs and 10 oz. He is 27 inches long. Can you believe that?

Well, all for now...must sleep so that I can take the kids to the "Jurassic Jamboree" at the Dallas Children's Museum.

Hello to all...just taking a moment to sit and jot a note about today. It has been quite a long weekend and it is all running together. No rest for the Johnson crew, we spent the weekend running back and forth between Garland, Arlington, Terrall and Waxahachie. We have purchased the air units for the school building as well as the insulation. Which Brian spent Sunday afternoon putting up in the building. He worked really hard and got it all done leaving places for the doors and windows and countertop.

On Friday night we went to six flags to see Crystal Lynn compete in a local leg of the Colgate Country Showdown (that contest that Scott Whitaker won several years back). She got 3rd. It was fun to walk around with the boys, we watched "people get stuck, oh no!" (Kutter) on the Superman ride and fed the (huge) fish. We pressed penny's and saw Scooby Doo, Sylvester and Foghorn Leghorn. It was fun!

On Saturday we went to Terrell to see Liz Arnold compete in another local leg of the colgate country showdown competetition. She won. But really the girl had no competition. She is 18, beautiful with a voice that won't quit and has a great stage presence. She will make it in the entertainment world that is no doubt. http://www.lizarnoldmusic.com/

While at the competition on Saturday Brian signed up for a drawing to win a recliner and won it! How cool is that! It of course is maroon and not green like our other one...thus the reason he won it! haha! :) But we plan to get a rug that is "apple butter", which is the name of a really beautiful rug we found with lots of naturals and earth tones. I need a pillow to throw in his chair...

Not much excitement today. The kids and I took a trip to McD's for lunch. Bug refused to nap and the 2 year old reared his head several times throughout the day...but overall unenventful and good.

Tomorrow is a trip to see Briana's gym class and a picnic lunch. Then home for a nap. Kaden's Dr.'s appointment is tomorrow afternoon...will update then.

Until later...take care of all...we-
